Why cheating is good, while thinking of cheating is bad...

Dolphins choose only one partner for their whole life. I guess they could be considered as some of the most faithful animals, although animals in general are thought to be driven strictly by instincts. As opposed to humans, who are thought to be driven by reason, emotions and, only to a small extent, by instincts...
WRONG!
My experiences so far, at least in that which concerns "sexual monogamy" (having only one partner) prove beyond doubt that humans are driven mostly by emotions and instincts. It's true that in some people emotions prevail over instincts, whereas in others instincts tend to be stronger. But they all have, we all have, at least one thing in common: our reason is barely a tool used to find excuses and explications for what we, humans, do when we are driven by our emotions or instincts.
Whoever claims having done something because "it was the most reasonable thing to do", whoever claims having been driven by reason in their acts is either lying or completely ignorant of the most basic psychological resorts of us, humans.
My heart beats because my brain is sending regular electric signals that it should do so. My lungs increase in volume (when inspiring) and decrease (when expiring) because my brain is sending regular electric signals that it should do so. My eyes are gazing on a face or a pair of hands because my brain is sending irregular signals that they should do so. Each and every process that my body is experiencing, ranging from the complex psychological ones, to the most basic ones, such as the oxygen being burnt in the cells to produce energy, is controlled either directly by the brain or by its "agents": reflexes, instincts, hormones...
We are basically a bundle of electric impulses and chemical reactions. A very complicated system, I'll give you that, but... nothing more than an electrical and chemical system...
Of course, I am now speaking strictly from a "medical" point of view. Those of us who are lucky enough to also believe in the existence of soul and life-ever-after, stand a better chance of bearing with this "medical reality" I've described above...
I am one of the believers. I believe we have thoughts and feelings, although, eventually, they can be decomposed down to chemical reactions in our body and electrical connections between our nervous cells. I believe there is SOMETHING that keeps together all these processes, thoughts, feelings and everything else. I do not believe, though, that that SOMETHING is a feature solely of the human beings. I believe, in fact, that human beings are becoming increasingly efficient in destroying that SOMETHING in themselves... and they are now turning to destroy that SOMETHING in everything that surrounds them.. obviously beginning with the environment.
So what does all that have to do with cheating?
It has everything to do with that. CHEATING, the one thing most people do but most people blame too, is simply another name for the complex chemical and physical processes that occur between two or more human beings. Some call the same process "making love", "having sex", "being free", "having an affair", "breaking up" , "ruining a perfectly good relationship"... or ANYTHING ELSE.
Anything can be interpreted as cheating. Or as love. Or as beauty. Or as hate. Or as freedom... or...
Anything can be interpreted because everything consists of words. Bare names to processes that, again, can be decomposed to their most basic elements...
"What's in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet".... (Skakespeare, Romeo and Juliet)...
And why is thinking of cheating worse than cheating? Simply because this tool we call reason makes a very powerful use of words, of names, that is. And reason makes things so horribly complicated...
If I had to choose one word and one word only to break down all the complications all the other words produce, that one word would be FREEDOM.
